Ruth Lamiley Lamptey
Hello, my name is Ruth Lamiley Lamptey, from Accra, Ghana. I am a graduate of the University of Professional Studies, Accra, where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance. I am a past student of Soronko Academy training session on Women in Digital Skills Program Cohort 15. It was a six-week exciting training session where I learned the introduction of graphic designs where we were taught how to use Canva to create a lot of designs and logos. I also learned how to use WordPress to create my business website and a whole lot. The exciting part is the soft skills where Influential People will be invited to speak to us, one thing that has got me moving is what I learned about the soft skills was the power of resilience taught by Mrs. Priscilla Kesseih a senior clinical psychologist. Currently, work as an Accountant, one interesting thing about how I got the job was using Canva to organize my CV. I have applied for a lot of jobs in previous days no call for months. So I decided to use Canva to change the structure and everything about my cv and applied for my current job. I got a call the next day from the manager and one thing he mentioned was ‘’who did your cv for you’’. I was really excited. I have created my own business website using WordPress and still working on it. Thanks to Soronko Academy and MasterCard Foundation for giving me such as opportunity.
