The National Gender Policy was developed in 2015. The Ministry has commenced the process for reviewing the Policy. The National Gender Policy was developed to mainstream gender equality and Women’s Empowerment into Ghana’s development efforts and in response to the 2030 Agenda.

My name is Lilipearl Baaba Otoo, a participant of WIDS cohort 12. The program gave me the opportunity to be part of our social media team where I implemented strategies such as hashtags, audience engagements through QnAs. I also got a job with Aisle 28, a restaurant, to manage their Instagram page. The program was very insightful and eye-opening.
