Sadia Umar

Hello, I am Sadia Umar. I got lucky to study digital skills (social media and digital marketing), kind courtesy of MasterCard Foundation and Soronko Academy under the Women in Digital Skills program. I have a certification in Marketing and having this training was the icing on the cake for me, due to the current global thirst for digital and technological advancement. I had an insightful six weeks of training which an eye-opening experience. I was able to use my new skills to help colleagues and friends establish an online presence for their businesses. I am also currently studying Data Analytics. Through this whole process, I’ve had the privilege of attending some educative events and met women who are doing exceptionally well in the tech world. Thanks to the founders of Soronko for creating this amazing platform to help women get the desired knowledge in digital skills.
