Emmanuella Kissi

My name is Emmanuella Kissi. A 23-year-old girl and also a level 400 student at the University of Ghana studying B.A. in Finance and Economics. Looking for opportunities that would help me gain more knowledge and skills, I came across this wonderful opportunity from Soronko Academy to study Digital marketing I decided not to let this opportunity go to waste. I quickly went through the necessary procedure and I was accepted. After the training, I gained more skills and knowledge on how to register my business, promote it using social media, and also how to empower and believe in myself. I had this motivation from our soft skill section. I really learned a lot. Well, I decided not to let all these skills and knowledge go to waste so I started a business that involved the selling of perfumes and crocs. Although there have been ups and downs, my little business is still growing and I’m still gaining more ideas on how to make the business a bigger one. Not wanting to be selfish. I decided to impact my society with the ideas and skills I got from Soronko Academy. I started helping my friends who have businesses by registering their businesses for them and also teaching them how to use social media to promote their businesses. I also taught some of them how to register and promote their business. All thanks to Soronko Academy.
